Facebook Page posting limits: how to post daily without getting flagged for spam

Facebook silently throttles Pages that post too often or too fast. Here is what trips the anti-spam block, the daily budget that stays safe, and how Byvano spaces posts automatically.

Facebook does not publish an official daily posting cap for Pages, but it absolutely has one. If a Page posts too many times in a short window, or too many posts in a day overall, Facebook returns error code 368 — "We limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time in order to help protect the community" — and refuses every publish on that Page for the next few hours. Retrying while the block is live can extend it. For ecommerce teams running sales, product drops or influencer-style content, this is the single most common reason a Facebook campaign quietly stops going out.

What triggers Facebook's anti-spam block on Pages

Based on facebook page posting limits we have observed across hundreds of merchant Pages, three patterns reliably trip the block:

  • Bursts of posts within a few minutes. Five Reels queued one minute apart look like a bot to Facebook's spam filters. The same five Reels spaced 15 minutes apart usually sail through.
  • High daily volume on a single Page. Our production data from October 2026 showed Pages publishing 92–187 posts in one day each getting hit for several hours of blocks. 25–50 per day was safe for the same Pages.
  • Near-duplicate content. The same caption or the same image posted repeatedly is a classic spam signal, even if each post is scheduled hours apart.

Facebook does not tell you which of these you tripped. The error message is identical regardless of cause. That makes it easy to assume the problem is authentication or media when it is actually posting rhythm.

The safe daily budget for a Facebook Page

There is no magic number that works for every Page. Newer Pages, Pages with few followers, and Pages that just opened a new content pattern are throttled more aggressively than established Pages with a long posting history. As a practical rule for ecommerce brands:

  • Up to 25 posts per Page per 24 hours with at least 15 minutes between posts is reliable for almost every Page we see.
  • Up to 50 per day works for established Pages with 10,000+ followers and a long posting history, provided the spacing is still kept to 10 minutes or more.
  • Above 50 per day you are experimenting, and a few hours of block is likely at some point.

These are not Facebook's official thresholds — Facebook refuses to publish any. They are the safe envelope we have observed across live merchant accounts.

How Byvano prevents the block automatically

Byvano's social scheduler enforces a per-Page daily budget and minimum spacing on every Facebook post you schedule, so merchants do not have to think about it. If you bulk-schedule 60 Reels for tomorrow and only 25 can safely go out:

  • The first 25 publish on their scheduled times.
  • The remaining 35 are not failed — they are deferred and automatically published as slots open the following day, in the order you scheduled them.
  • If Facebook ever returns the anti-spam error anyway, Byvano pauses that Page for the next few hours and resumes when the block lifts.

No support ticket, no re-queuing manually. The daily cap and spacing are configurable per merchant and default to the safe envelope above.

If you have already been flagged

If your Page is in the anti-spam block right now, three things help:

  1. Stop posting for 6–12 hours. Every failed attempt during the block can extend it. Pause your scheduler and give Facebook a clean quiet period.
  2. Review your last 48 hours of content. If everything looked near-identical, vary captions and media before resuming.
  3. Resume slowly. Two or three posts a day for the next week, well spaced, lets Facebook's trust score for your Page recover.

Longer blocks (24+ hours) with no obvious trigger usually mean a user reported your Page. Those clear on Facebook's own schedule; posting more is counterproductive. For a practical walkthrough, see our guide on Auto post to Facebook page.

How many Facebook posts a day is too many?

For most ecommerce Pages, more than 50 posts in 24 hours on a single Page is the ceiling. Between 10 and 25 posts a day is the sweet spot for Pages actively running campaigns, with spacing of 15 minutes or more between posts. The exact number that will trigger a block depends on your Page's age, follower count, prior posting history, and whether the content looks varied — Facebook does not publish the formula. You can see how this fits together in Facebook post planner.

Why ecommerce teams choose Byvano for Facebook posting

  • Automatic daily cap & spacing. Post as many Reels or photos as you want — Byvano queues the ones that would exceed a safe Page budget and releases them on schedule the next day.
  • Deferred, not failed. Nothing is thrown away. A 60-post bulk upload becomes a clean two-day rollout without you touching anything.
  • Block-aware retries. If Facebook does flag your Page, Byvano stops sending to it immediately — no attempts burned extending the block.
  • Launch access free until 31 December 2026. Every feature of the scheduler and shoppable video is included with no credit card. Sign up to connect your first Facebook Page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Facebook daily posting limit for a Page?

Facebook does not publish an official daily cap, but 25 to 50 posts in 24 hours is the safe range for most Pages. Above that, Facebook's anti-spam filter (error code 368) temporarily blocks publishing for several hours.

How long does a Facebook spam block last?

The initial block usually lasts 3 to 6 hours. Continued attempts during the block can extend it to 24 hours or more. Stop posting as soon as you see the error and let Facebook's own clock clear it.

Can Byvano bulk-schedule posts without triggering a Facebook block?

Yes. Byvano's scheduler caps publishes per Page per 24 hours and enforces a minimum 15-minute gap between posts. Posts that would exceed the safe daily budget are deferred and published automatically as slots open, so nothing is lost.
